The Picker institute report "Accessing information about health and social care services " commissioned by the UK Department of Health and published in April 2007, makes several key recomendations about the need for Pro-active communication of local resources to Patients. interactivHealth believe that the UK public still place the highest degree of trust in their GP and local Practice and the technology behind our health information portals are designed with the GP Practice at the epicentre providing an effective sign post to a whole range of appropriate NHS and other resources.
